Our trusted pet emergency care at Skipworth Veterinary Clinic provides urgent treatment to keep your beloved pets safe and healthy when they need it most.

We make every effort to be available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call us and leave a voicemail, Dr. Skipworth or one of his trained staff will call you back as soon as possible. Your pet’s situation will be evaluated and a recommendation for treatment will be made.

The team at Skipworth Veterinary Clinic can handle most vet emergencies. However, for cases that need more intensive care, we partner with one of the most advanced critical care hospitals in Central Kentucky, MedVet Lexington. They are located in Lexington, KY, and provide around-the-clock care. If after discussing your case with Dr. Skipworth the decision is made to seek the service of MedVet, we will make a referral so the transfer to their care will be as smooth as possible for our clients and patients.
